Mental Health Awareness Month has been observed in May in the United States since 1949. Mental Health Awareness Month educates the public about mental illness and the many Americans who live day to day with conditions that impact their mental health. Take some time this month to learn a bit more about maintaining good mental health!
During the month of May, the Office on Disease Prevention and Health Promotion celebrates National Physical Fitness and Sports Month to raise awareness about the benefits of physical activity.
