SOS: Saving OurSelves

Did You Know?

NHA community health centers accept most insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare. Health care assistance on a sliding fee scale is available for those who are underinsured or uninsured.

S.O.S PROGRAM

Saving Ourselves, also known as S.O.S., is a project of the Neighborhood Health Association. NHA has undertaken an aggressive community engagement project that is intended to empower and educate those communities most vulnerable to multiple diseases, both mental and physical, and provide the tools in combating these diseases in their neighborhoods.

S.O.S. focuses on two diseases per quarter and pushes the awareness of those two diseases through presentations, the use, and building through social media platforms.

S.O.S. has the responsibility to educate and inform the targeted communities of the resources NHA provides to help anyone who suffers from the diseases presented each quarter.

S.O.S. Pledges to:

  • Engage in Community Empowerment
  • We will provide a variety of resources and educational tools to at risk communities.
  • Educate and inform our targeted communities of the many resources NHA has to offer
  • We will offer a helping hand to all who need it.
