NHA community health centers accept most insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare. Health care assistance on a sliding fee scale is available for those who are underinsured or uninsured.
The After Hours Clinic is located at the south entrance of Nexus Health Care.
Our goal at the After Hours Clinic is to address your highest priority need. Walk-in service is designed to increase the availability of medical access for unexpected illness and non-emergent care needs. This is for care of non-life threatening injuries and services not considered chronic in nature as managed by your primary care provider or specialist. Care will be provided on a first come-first served basis as time allows.
Services at the after hours clinic include:
- Current medication refill by NHA provider
- Upset stomach
- Earache
- Sprain
- New rash
- Upper respiratory symptoms, cold, flu
- Seasonal allergy
- Sports Physicals/Well Child Exams and shots for school
Example of services not offered:
- DMV Physicals
- Paperwork requiring evaluation and ongoing management: Ex: Workers Comp, CDL, DOT forms
- Chronic pain management medications
- Mental or chronic medical illness managed by your primary care provider or specialist
- Severe cuts or burns
- Loss of consciousness
- Uncontrolled bleeding
- Refills on opiate medications for non-NHA patients
All services are available to all NHA patients regardless of where they receive their care. No one is turned away from care, regardless of their ability to pay.

Tuesday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Summer Hours
First Monday in May through the last Friday in August
Monday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
The clinic offers access to bus lines, helping fulfill NHA’s mission of providing quality care for the entire community. Parking is available in the NHA parking lot directly across 14th Street.
Patients who are seen by NHA providers can have labs done at NHA. Any patient of NHA who has a lab order from an outside health system may have services done at NHA. Onsite lab services are located at most of the clinic locations. Lab hours are the same as clinic hours.
