Podiatry

Did You Know?

NHA community health centers accept most insurance, including Medicaid and Medicare. Health care assistance on a sliding fee scale is available for those who are underinsured or uninsured.

Podiatry

The Nexus Health Care, part of the Neighborhood Health Association network of healthcare facilities, offers a range of podiatry services to our patients.

A podiatrist is a health professional who deals with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of medical and surgical conditions of the feet and lower limbs.

  • Foot and leg pain should not be a part of your daily life. It can often restrict a person’s mobility and good health.
  • Foot and leg alignment can have a significant effect on the development of painful problems during sports, at work or in daily life.
  • Foot health care begins at any age—the earlier the better! Early detection and management in babies and children can help reduce foot problems in later life.

Our podiatrist treats patients experiencing problems with their feet and ankles. We provide highly effective treatment for these and other common ailments:

  • Bunions
  • Hammer toes
  • Warts
  • Athlete’s foot
  • Heel pain
  • Sprains and strains
  • Skin and nail problems
  • Ingrown toenails
  • Treatment for diabetes patients experiencing foot problems

Consult with your Primary care provider if you are experiencing symptoms to determine if you should see a podiatrist. To establish yourself as an NHA patient and get a referral, contact NHA at 419.255.7883.

As always, if you are experiencing a health emergency, call 911.
